Punta Trettu in the area of Porto Botte along the Golfo di Palmas in the Southwest of Sardinia (Sulcis) is considered one of the best Wind Spots, highly suitable for Kite Surfing. In fact, it boasts three schools, suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders!
The narrow strip of sand of Punta Trettu Beach is situated at the base of the long triangle called “Punt’e Trettu“. Punta Trettu is, in fact, a point (“Punta”) that looks straight (“Trettu” in Sardinian, “Dritta” in Italian) at the island of Sant’Antioco.
With shallow calm waters and constant winds, Punta Trettu is considered a paradise for kitesurfing, one of the best kitesurfing spots in all of Europe!
